Quill grew up in Midori and Synerg. Family moved across border routinely conducting a lucrative trading business between the nations. During his trips to Synerg, the elven mages intrigued Quill and he developed a love of magic and illusions. Most of his time however, he spent on the road in the wilderness, which he grew to love as well. When his parents decided to retire to Emerald City (capital of Midori) Quill decided to stay in area, watch out for other travelers/merchants and study magic in Synerg. He became associated with a mage named Efffanal, who moved to Mythagem, the wizard’s enclave, a short time ago.
Quill has made a close friend of a local ranger/druid (human) named Adrian who normally patrols the northern part of the small nation of Synerg.
Yes, Quill, it was Adrianna, and she is quite a “babe” as Beales put it. J
“Benols Mother and Quils father are brother and sister” Benols and Quills grandparents live in a small elven community in south eastern Midori. (Mystgate) Benol’s mother and Quill’s father would meet there for family reunions when Quill and Benol were children. The kids sometimes spent summers there. There was this one time when young Quill and Benol walked off into the woods alone and encountered a dryad….
Quill’s elven father and human mother lived together and traveled together throughout Quill’s childhood, but Quill mother died of old age. After a couple of decades, Quill’s father fell in love with an elven woman, and retired to Emerald City where his new elven love is from. He still has a weakness for human woman, but it is tempered now by the knowledge of the reality of losing them all too soon. (He hints sometimes at more brothers and sister’s of Quill’s but will pass it off as a joke when pressed for details)
Quill originally loved magic, but grew disenchanted with it once he realized how much time was required to advance and how much time you had spend indoors studying. His woodland 1/2 kept calling for the outdoors, and once he realized what a ranger could do, a new love was found that grew from a hobby into a profession. His dream is to meet that special someone, probably ranger or druid, and spend the rest of his life exploring nature or living in a community that embraces nature so he can have a family (and Wolfy can have pups). Magic is still a strong hobby that won’t grow stale, just put on the back burner to nature.
