DragonHawk - Hidden Dragons
Alkuvilli Elf Barbarian
Kindle Rock is a barbarian from the Alkuvilli tribe.
During the Great Ravosia War the Ravoisa ravaged through Midori. Kindle fought against them, not because he felt allied to the Modernii elves that ran Midori, but because of the things the Ravosia did. When the tide turned and the Ravosia had all but lost, Kindle grew tired of the war and left the battlefield for solace of nature.
After the Great Ravosia War, Midori was severely damaged. They reached out to Kindle’s tribe and other Alkuvilli tribe, changing long standing barriers and welcoming them into the nation of Midori, to live if they wanted to. Kindle and his tribe moved there.
Many years later Kindle visited the village shaman who guided him in a ceremony. The shaman told Kindle he should seek out the legendary white tiger that was roaming the wild woods east of Midori. There was a legend among the barbarians that a barbarian who was able to steal a white tiger cub and return it to the village would lead the tribe to great prosperity.
Kindle stalked the tiger for several days before he lay his trap. When the tiger pounced on the deer carcass he had placed, Kindle sneaked into the den can stole a cub. Almost out of the den, the cub bite him and cried out for its parent.
The Tiger came quickly to the den but Kindle had immediately run. He ran as fast as he ever had in his life. The Tiger followed the sounds and the scent. The chase was on for hours and hours. Eventually though the Tiger caught up to him. Kindle would have died if not for the interference from Quill, a half elf ranger who created an illusion that confused the tiger long enough for Kindle to escape. Quill taught Kindle about the majesty of nature and the forest and the two became quick friends. Quill was only half elf, but he was a good man.
The two of them returned to Kindle’s village and delivered the cub to the village shaman. That tribe is still raising the tiger today. Although Kindle has yet to become a barbarian leader, he has remained friends with Quill and has promised him if he ever needed his help on an adventure, Kindle would be there.
A few years later Kindle had reason to visit Quill during a trip to Synerg. A few Alkuvilli had moved in secret out of Midori and into Synerg. Kindle had been asked to check on them after hearing about the horses of undead and devils that attacked Synerg. There were rumors a large Dragon had been part of the battle. No one had heard from their fellow tribesmen since.
The tribesmen were fine, but they had been forced into hiding. They were just starting to reach out to the locals again, and met of all people, Kindle’s old friend Quill.
After visiting the Alkuvilli under Clan Chief Greystone and reuniting with Quill, Kindle realized he felt more at home in the countryside near Quill’s place than Midori, as beautiful as it is. Rural Synerg reminded him of the Wild Woods, but without all the dangerous magical creatures, well at least most of them.
Kindle joined the local tribe and visited Quill often.
